The amplitude and frequency of a vibrating screen are independently adjustable parameters; together, they determine the magnitude of the excitation force. High amplitude is suitable for screening large ore lumps, whereas low amplitude combined with high frequency is the preferred choice for dewatering fine particles.
Optimal results are achieved by tailoring these settings to the specific application requirements. In practical operation, however, a critical caution applies: do not arbitrarily adjust the amplitude or frequency. The frequency, in particular, exerts immense destructive force on the screen body; blindly increasing the frequency could potentially lead to the complete and irreparable failure—or "scrapping"—of the vibrating screen machine.
