The ore discharge concentration is also called the grinding concentration, which refers to the ratio of ore and water in the barrel of the grinding machine. It can be judged by the measurement results of the ore discharge concentration of the grinding machine. The grinding concentration directly affects the fluidity of the slurry in the cylinder and the ability to transport mineral particles, and also affects the performance of the grinding medium. Therefore, a grinding operator must be good at mastering the grinding concentration. Production practice has proven that the most suitable grinding concentration is between 60% and 83%. During coarse grinding, the grinding concentration is slightly higher, generally controlled between 75% and 83%; during fine grinding, the grinding concentration can be lower, approximately between 65% and 75%.
Ore with different densities should also have different grinding concentrations. For ores with high density, the grinding concentration can be controlled to be higher; for ores with small density, the grinding concentration should be smaller.
