Foam abnormality is a frequent trouble in flotation production. Many operators add chemicals blindly when problems occur, making the working condition worse. There are five typical foam faults:



1、Bulky & fragile foam: Over-dosage of collector, cut collector consumption;
2、Sticky & tough foam: Excessive frother, reduce frother feeding;
3、Dark mineral-laden foam: Too frequent froth scraping, slow down scraping speed;
4、Pale barren foam without ore: Insufficient reagents, add proper chemicals;
5、Splashing & overflowing foam: Over-high pulp density, dilute slurry with water.
